How much bandwidth does a VPS need?
Multiply the average size of a page view by your monthly visits. 100,000 visits to pages that weigh 2 MB each is about 200 GB a month. Most small sites use far less than they fear, and video or large downloads are what push the number up.

The formula
Monthly transfer is the average page weight times page views. Use your browser's network panel to read the real page weight, and your analytics for the view count.
Caching and a CDN change the result, because repeat visitors and cached files do not come from your server every time.
Three worked examples
Round numbers, to show the scale.
- A blog with 20,000 page views a month at 1.5 MB each: about 30 GB
- A shop with 100,000 page views a month at 2 MB each: about 200 GB
- A download site serving 5,000 files of 500 MB: about 2.5 TB
Monthly transfer is not the same as port speed
Transfer is the total moved in a month. Port speed is how fast data can move at any moment. 1 TB a month averages out to about 3 Mbps over a whole month, but traffic arrives in bursts, so a fast port helps at peak times. Every plan here has a 1 Gb LAN port.
Check your real usage
On Linux, install vnstat and read vnstat -m for monthly totals. On Windows, use Resource Monitor or the Task Manager network tab.
If you are sizing a new server, CPU and RAM usually matter before bandwidth does. Plans are listed on the pricing page.
